Spectrum Management intern

Azercosmos is looking for young, ambitious and passionate graduates to join Spectrum Management team as an intern. Roles and Responsibilities: • Careful analysis of spectrum allocation (including satellite orbit positions) to avoid harmful interference Determining potential customers and collecting leads data; • Deliver technical assistance by complying with world-wide telecommunication standardization, international treaties that Azerbaijan is a signatory; • To support new and established satellite networks to realize the projects through every step of the ITU’s process; • Analyze technical and operational data contained in frequency assignment notices and prepare report on findings; • Study and examine the use of the radio frequency spectrum and the geostationary as well as non-geostationary orbit and formulate recommendations; • To prepare filing proposal and present it to Management before submitting it to ITU via MTCHT. Required skills: • Bachelor degree in Radio frequency, technical related field; • Fluent in Azerbaijani and English, intermediate in Russian; • Ability to work with automate information systems; • Accuracy and attention to detail with data, analyses and reports; • Excellent time management skills; • Excellent communication skills and the ability to turn analysis and insight into well-documented recommendations and plans; • Work with database; • Communicating technical information to a non-technical audience in a simple way. Internship Period: 9 Month. Working Days: Monday to Friday. Working Hours: Flexible and hybrid. Occasional attendance of meetings/briefings might be required. Office: Landmark Business Centre.
